A Word from Our Patients
Dr. Solinsky,
With all of my eye issues, this past year has been most eventful for me. As an ophthalmologist, you, more than anyone, understand what it means to be able to see and how a reduction in vision impacts one’s ability to drive, to read, and quality of life in general. The first half of last year was extremely difficult for me, with it taking almost twice my normal time to read and write. As an academic, virtually all of my time involves reading and writing so doing my job was becoming impossible.
Several months and five procedures later, while I still have a way to go, I can see (almost literally!) the light at the end of the tunnel. My life has been changed and you have been the reason. I cannot express my gratitude for your helpfulness, support, and skill over these past several months.
Additionally, please extend my gratitude to your staff. My interactions with them have been most positive; they succeed in finding that important balance between professionalism and a friendliness and congeniality.
Keeping in mind that one would always prefer not have to seek medical treatment, I can honestly say that I have looked forward to my appointments. I have learned a lot about my visual conditions and have always felt that you all listened to my concerns and answered my questions.
Please accept my thanks and gratitude.
