Operation Comix Relief was started by Chris Tarbassian in March 2003. Hi goal was to send comic books to the ill and wounded soldiers to provide them with some diversional activity during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Since 2003 OCR has become a much bigger project and Tarbassian is now able to send comics to any front line soldier.
